Gökçen Hatipoğlu
Specialist Doctor Gökçen HATİPOĞLU graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine in 2015. Between 2016-2020, she completed her specialty training at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurology.
Uzm. Dr. Gökçen Hatipoğlu, in her private neurology practice in Bağdat Street, Istanbul; Dementia, Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Tremor, Movement Diseases, Muscle Diseases, Headache, Migraine, Neuropathic Pain, Epilepsy, Seizure, Stroke, Paralysis, Sleep Diseases, Sleep Apnea, Narcolepsy and Other Neurological Diseases.
During his specialty training, he was in Australia for research at the University of New South Wales Sydney in 2018. He worked as a Neurology specialist at Ordu Training and Research Hospital between 2020-2022. Between 2022-2023, he worked as a Neurology specialist at Private Bodrum Acıbadem Medical Center.
In 2024, he received sleep medicine training at Cerrahpaşa University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurology, Sleep Unit and successfully passed the exam and received the title of “Doctor of Sleep Diseases”.
Uzm. Dr. Gökçen Hatipoğlu has been serving her patients in her private practice in Bağdat Street, Istanbul since 2024.
Uzm. Dr. Gökçen Hatipoğlu has scientific articles published in her field, studies presented at national and international congresses and published book chapters.
Her specialty thesis titled “The relationship of Nociceptin and Anandamide levels with attack frequency and analgesic overuse in migraine.” was awarded the second prize for the best research article by the Turkish Journal of Neurology in 2022.
She continues her master’s degree with thesis in Electro-Neurophysiology at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine.
